It was a great place to stay at but the hosts need to step it up A LOT!

Really good location, got a Morissons just a couple hundred meters away, not too far from the beach

When I got there it was colder in the property than it was outside somehow(early January) and couldn’t figure out why on the first evening, texted the hosts right away just for them to tell me to find the control panel which I already found before (and told them that I have found it) that just wouldn’t change anything about the temperature in the building. I did tell them once more that I did find the control panel but no matter what I did it did not change anything about the temperatures which to they only replied with the exact same premise? Find the control panel and change the temperature. Lovely. Once I woke up the next morning I decided to take a closer look under the stairs and found out the boiler was just entirely turned off with no indication of that being a he case in any kind of description of the property, and if you thought that would be it already you’d be wrong, one of the windows of the upstairs bedrooms just couldn’t be closed because of some bent metal, also texted the owners about that right away and took pictures too but still to this day did not get a reply from them, neither about the heating (which i had to resolve myself) or the broken window. Oven doesn’t properly work either, set it 220 degrees for some ribs, it completely burned the baking paper to the ground, seems to just constantly getting hotter and hotter no matter temperature you set it to.

Would not have booked had we known the above

It was central to where we wanted to go

The 3rd bedroom was I believe a converted en suite, it had a shower and sink (no water for the sink). This meant when using the downstairs toilet we had to go through the main bedroom where people were sleeping. Not good. Also the property is directly opposite South Tyneside Muslim house that had loudspeakers chanting at 10am.

It suited our needs

It's a good size in a handy location, the TV options are all there and the kitchen is fairly well equipped. The furniture is pretty new and the beds are comfy.

I think they are trying to cram too much into the house, there is an odd situation in the 'third bedroom' which is obviously meant to be a bathroom and the oven really needs servicing.
