The staff are so friendly and funny, and the value for money here is brillaint.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming - especially at breakfast! The breakfast was delicious! Great location and value for money.

Our only complaint would be that we couldn’t keep the window open which meant it could get quite hot in the room - there is air conditioning but having a breeze would have been lovely.

My stay was personal reason and the accommodation was adequate for the time I was there breakfast was perfect

Despite being over a pub it was quite inside the room so that was nice staff in the morning very pleasant to enjoyed the breakfast was really nicely done

Good for a one night stay

Good central location close to the Harbourside. Very good breakfast. Easy walking access to SS Great Britain. Very good value for central Bristol.

Basic but very clean and comfortable. Easy access once you have the key card. Good value for money.

Parking is a little tricky, they do an offer a permit but needs to be discussed on arrival you you have to hope some on-street spaces are free.

The breakfast was fabulous! Great to have free parking. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and this was excellent food

Good location for Ashton gate. Quite nice and quiet. Clean and comfy bed.

Breakfast wasn’t served until 9am so I didn’t get it either morning as my conference started at 8.30am.

Hard to find the place cos they don't name it on booking.com the same as the sign outside

Staff were competent. Bedroom had nice new window.

The address was not given me. I had no Comms from the venue. It is named on booking.com only as " BS3 bed and breakfast.". I could have found it if they had mentioned "Ashville". The toilet cistern was faulty.

Great place to stay, close to Ashton Gate

Breakfast was good, and check in was super quick and smooth. The bed was comfortable, shower in room 2 is very good. Towels were nice and soft too.

The pillows were a little flat and old.

Was easy to find, staff helpful even organising a taxi, had lunch which was really good quality and tasted fab. Room was good size, very clean and comfortable had everything you could want and more ie fridge microwave

Can't say didn't like anything as I slept well but mattress was too soft for my Mum so that is a personal preference to each person.

Pleasant and would stay again but not for work as breakfast is too late in the day when served at 9.

I booked the accommodation for work purposes as I was on a course that started at 0900 each day locally. Breakfast wasnt served until 0900 -1000 which was extremely disappointing. One very nice staff member though did let me into the restaurant on one morning and the chef quickly made me a breakfast but i rushed to eat it. The staff member and the chef were good people to do this. I felt a bit bad for the staff member though as I think she may have been told off for letting me in early. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for work purposes on the basis that they cant feed you before you leave for work.

A great place to stay if you have very little luggage!

Free parking. Breakfast included. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Large shower. Excellent air conditioning. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast in lovely restaurant dining room. View of Trees from the window. Nicely decorated.

A difficult room to stay in (room one) if you have luggage. The only space to put a case was under the bed and I had to remove some items from mine to put it under. No plug in the bathroom basin which made shaving difficult. A light bulb missing. Suggestions: a large shelf in the bathroom would be really helpful to put toiletries on (the small shelf provided isn’t practical). A better curtain rail would be good – the curtains kept coming unhooked!

Perfect for a short stay over

The location, the room, the staff. We had no major faults, it's a lovely use of the area and the bar/restaurant is lovely, and even provided air con, which we weren't expecting. Also provided breakfast, unfortunately we couldn't try as we had to leave early, but also a lovely addition to what you get.

Only thing is the bed, it's a spring beef and really uncomfortable (I realise this is a personal thing) my partner and I struggled to get comfortable on the bed. But honestly the only gripe we have. It's a really great place, for a fantastic price.

Great value for money. Small but suitable room for one person. This isn’t a fancy hotel, but it’s half the price. It’s clean, everything worked, bed was comfy, staff are lovely. Highly recommended

Positively surprised by the looks of the room as the outside of the building could maybe suggest otherwise.Good location.Nice 20 mi walk from the busy centre and the harbour.Air con in the room definitely positive as it was hot day when I stayed there.

Bathroom could do with a bit of paint.Also better cleaning as I’ve found some hairs in shower cabin as well as on the bathroom floor .
