I loved it, I found it very well located, a very good price, very well equipped. And the staff was very good.

The only problem with some other guests is that they end up smoking and being noisy, breaking some rules, but it's not the accommodation's fault.

The room

I didn't know how to get to the door, I was given the numbers but I felt like there were missing instructions. I wasn't told that if we wanted towels we needed to ask for them, so when I arrive I had to buy some towels. The bathrooms weren't very clean. There is no locker on the room's door and it didn't feel safe. One night there was a man sleeping on the sofa

Not very clean . Bathroom extractor fan next to my room on 24/7 woke me up several times. First 2 nights of my stay hearing off so room was freezing.

There were insects and spiders left behind by previous guests, the heaters were inadequate, the common areas were completely filthy, and the smell made it impossible to even enter. There are better places; you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

On the whole was an ok stay except for the noise levels.

Great location and neighbourhood in walking distance to public transport and activities, except for at night. ( see notes below).

The ternants upstairs were extremely disrespectful with thier noise level. Also the neighbourhood is in a student area and on some nights the noise level was ridiculous, praying well into the morning hours. I would recommend staying at the nearby Clifton Hotel, as the staff there were fantastic as well as the food options. Also the towels not being supplied was inconvenient. I did ask for towels which I never receieved.

Central, Safe and Clean

Central, but quiet enough for sleep! Responsive. When I emailed that the room was cold, the heating was on the next day. No faffing about with keys.

No dryer in the laundry, so I couldn't use it in October! No parking permit was available so it was fairly impossible to park nearby. I would have liked to use the lounge but I couldn't find any light switches, so I sat in the dark, which actually was kind of cool!!

Most disgusting place

Location

First of all, the room I was given looked "nothing" like the photos on Booking.com. It was basically unfurnished, smelled like mould and dust, and was clearly not cleaned at all. As soon as I stepped in, my eyes started watering, I was sneezing non-stop, and my skin began to itch — clearly a health hazard. When I complained, instead of properly resolving the issue, I was told to go to a completely different address. I had to walk 10 minutes just to get there, dragging my luggage like a fool. After finally reaching that location, I received yet "another" room number and access code. I wasted over an hour trying to figure out where I was even supposed to stay. After a long trip from Manchester, this was an absolutely ridiculous situation to be put in. And no surprise, the second room wasn’t any better. It was filthy. There were hairs in the sink, the curtains were torn, and the toilet was disgusting. On top of that, I genuinely suspect the place has bed bugs — I woke up itching all over and now I have bites on my body. That is completely unacceptable and borderline dangerous. I was supposed to check out tomorrow at 10 AM, but I left today at 4 PM because I couldn’t take another minute. My skin is still irritated and I’m beyond disgusted. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. I demand a refund, and I suggest someone investigate the condition of that property because what I went through should "not" be happening to paying guests.

Returned back at midnight and the property had zero toilet paper in the building and no shops nearby to buy some. Shared bathroom with insufficient cleaning roster and no toilet paper is extremely poor and rather disgusting. Called the property to discuss but nobody returned my call

Basic, student flat type accommodation. Mix match furniture, but clean and CHEAP. Fabulous!!

For value for money 150% central Bristol at c £240 for 5 nights - £48 a night or £24pppn. The only downside is the shared bathroom, but AGAIN, what to expect for £48 a night. One on each flour for 4 rooms. Worked well. The room had a stove, kettle, kitchen side unit, sink, toaster, microwave and fridge. Plus all pots, pans, plates, cups, knives and forks etc. two desks and chairs. Was really excellent value for money. and staff were fantastic, not onsite, but by phone and email, they were available and friendly especially Lindsey, super fantastic customer service and a great communicator and followed up efficiently on everything promised. Lots of street parking as well for £45 for the week.

Walking up four sets of stairs to 2nd floor, no elevator. but again it is an old house in the centre. Plus I am lazy and unfit, will not be a problem for most. And it was only £48 a night.

A good stay if tou just need a place to sleep near the university.

This place is relatively easy to book and in a very good for the university and Clifton.

While I was there one toilet was out of order and another had a blocked sink for my 2 week stay so only one working toilet between us all. The showers were also very low quality - low flow and poor fixtures squirting water in every direction. A weekly clean is also not enough for how many people are using the bathrooms.

Location and price was good - had some promotion when I booked I think. More expensive since

Absolutely freezing (I was in the room in the basement so more exposed to elements) It was snowing outside and heating working BUT barely on. Eventually (after daily emails and complains) I got extra heater but had to endure 3 nights of 12-13 degrees in the room overnight first. They started heating more after a few days - temperature outside got higher by then Should be cleaned more frequently. Not sure if fridges are ever cleaned. If you can just pay more for better comfort

i had just moved to Bristol, and found this townhouse last minute at an affordable price. very close to the city center,

it doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like an apartment. which I like. the people I’ve met are nice, everyone respects each others’ space and belongings.

that there isn’t an elevator. but it’s okay. luckily my neighbor saw me struggling and helped me with my suitcases.

Very nice big room with big comfy bed. Great location. Nice big kitchen just opposite the room. The bathroom on every floor.

The squeaky floor in the room. The missing/broken left part of door frame from inside the room. The bathroom on floor 4 couldn't be used as a shower :( The shower on floor 3 didn't work properly.
