The property was large and the decor was reflective of the area which was nice.

There were several elements that did not work.

The apartment is huge, very quiet and private. Beds are very comfortable, while kitchen and bathrooms are functional. The location is perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and the esplanade. The host was very lovely and accommodating, letting my elderly parents to check in ahead of time

I would have expected a washing machine but I could not find one. This was not a problem for me, but could be for others

The host, Anna, was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The apartment is well located and quite spacious. Very old, but well preserved.

I didn’t like being charged a 50 euro cleaning fee (I was informed immediately after booking, but it was a non-refundable reservation), when Booking.com's policy is that all fees are included in the price. I felt cheated. The cleanliness wasn't even immaculate, only ok. Furthermore, I didn't like several things about the apartment: the kitchen wasn't equipped, making it impossible to cook or even have a meal there; although spacious and with several bedrooms, only one was available for us (a spacious living room converted into a bedroom with 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a crib), which wasn't suitable for my family – we expected access to the other bedrooms; the hall and corridor lights work with a sensor and cannot be turned off, causing excessive brightness in the "bedroom" through the glass partition whenever someone tried to move around; the crib was in poor condition, with parts half loose, making it unusable for an older baby with more mobility; The bathtub was unusable, lacking a tap or shower (which made bathing the children extremely difficult).
