We loved everything about this place: the location, the spaciousness and amenities of the apartment (family of six with four young kids), and the amazing host. Check in was simple, and Alfonso had cold water and beer ready for us in the frig. The apartment was clean, and the beds were super comfy. Great AC in every bedroom, excellent washing machine and a clothes line and drying rack, and a kitchen we were able to cook meals in (simple meals). Plenty of grocery stores within 5 minutes of the apartment; lots of great cafes/restaurants right outside the apartment, but no street noise inside the apartment. This was an excellent location to base out of to see Amalfi, Paestum, Naples, Caserta, and Pompeii. The train station was about a 15 minute walk away, and if you're driving, it was easy to go to Pompeii and Caserta (we didn't try driving in Naples). We booked a boat tour to Amalfi with Alfonso and it was the highlight of our trip. My kids keep talking about how much they loved snorkeling off the boat, and how they loved that Alfonso had so many cool toys for them to play with in the apartment. We loved it here and highly recommend it to anyone, especially families.

Great location, 10-12 minute walk from the train station and 15 minutes to the shoreline. Felt very secure. Breakfast place just next door. We based our Amalfi coast time out of Salerno and enjoyed the solitude and peacefulness of the property.

I had a wonderful stay in Salerno! The location was excellent—close to everything and perfect for exploring the city. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend!
