The rooftop

Wow! This place is superb. Set in the heart of York 5 minutes or so from the Train station, it completely exceeded my expectations. Large sitting room and Kitchen, large bedroom and good sized bathroom. Spotless. When you stay away there's generally something this you wish you could change, not so here I could not fault any of it. Easy getting into the apartment building and getting the key. You are near all of the York attractions yet tucked away in a quiet residential area. Can't recommend it highly enough. You do need to be aware there is a wide staircase and around 40 steps or so to get to the Apartment so you do need to be fairly mobile.

Spacious, well furnished, clean, comfortable

Tea and coffee supplies could be of better quality. Nescafé and pg tips is pretty low budget. No programmes available on the bedroom tv. Lounge tv had permanent subtitles that I couldn’t turn off.

Zero hassle, I ended up checking in much later. Place was easy to find, not far on foot from train station. Keycodes were fine. Shower was lovely. Bed very comfortable. I felt the place was comfortable and very good value. Its well situated, near local ammenities and is also pretty quiet. I love York and when I visit again, I hope to stay here.
