Lovely View and a Good Nights Rest

Easy keyless check in. Room was bright and clean with a comfy bed. Great views across the town. Very quiet so a good nights sleep. Heating was very good, and bathroom clean and functional.

Great nespresso machine but only one pod left for me! Lots of stairs, ok for one night but a case would need some effort.

Nicely decorated and good location.

On booking.com it said that towels were provided which they weren’t and the bathroom was quite slippery. There were also coffee sachets but no teabags.

Great location and design of rooms but missing some of the basic details.

The interior was lovely, a beautiful design.

It was not clean, they haven’t left towels or toilet paper. Had to ring and sort it out, which they did quickly but it was almost like the clean hadn’t been cleaned/ serviced properly or in a rush from the last visit.

Regretfully wouldn’t book again…..

Room is lovely and clean and the sea view is great, there is all you need for tea coffee etc a fridge and microwave. Shower and bathroom is great.

Only two picky faults with the room, only one mirror and the pillows are ready for changing. But here is where the score suffered ! The spa is a short walk away from the rooms, this isn’t too bad but the spa itself is not worth visiting, pool was cold and the hot tub was cold, the whole area was just tired,please do not book this if this is your reason for picking this hotel. The other reason is this building is supposed to be no pets, however the room above had two dogs and very bad owners ! They barked and woke us up before 7am and all the owner did was shout at them ! I don’t know if the people were guests or live here but with no reception it’s easy for people to get away with bringing there dogs in ! Based on this I wouldn’t book again which is a shame given the decent room,

Quirky Spacious Apt.

Quirky design very clean great views. Kitchen area was a bonus.

No lift My stay was great until fire alarm went off early morning and we evacuated the building.. this said I would recommend a stay here

Beautiful decor

Beautiful decor as soon as you enter the building. Our room was beautifully decorated too. Staff provided an earlier check in. Amazing views and bonus with the balcony. Perfect location for a New Years Eve stay.

Heating in room and bathroom didnt work. An additional thick blanket or extra bedding in room would help. Scaffolding at the side of our balcony. View was still lovely though. Could hear everything from room next door. For the amount we paid for New Years Eve I wouldn't really have expected these things.

Top marks for trendy apartment

Loved the location, minimalist style, colour scheme with a magnificent view of the sea from our room.

The toilet hadn't been thoroughly checked when it was cleaned prior to our stay.. There was a small hard speck of poo in the toilet (maybe I'm being a bit harsh) but I haven't marked it down. And we would definitely stay with you again if/when we come visit Scarborough in the future.

Beautiful view. Although there's currently scaffolding next door, the view was still very pretty. Gorgeous walk along the esplanade to the town. Great pillows.

It was fine but not as expected- would still return as we know more what to expect!

The spa facilities were not clearly explained ie they were in a different premises. The car parking facilities were not made clear and the self catering facilities were poor!

We enjoyed our stay

Love the interior. Our family stay was very cmfortable, kids had their own room. I loved everything really. Shower is so light and spacious, shampoo and body wash smelled amazing, bed was very comfortable, coffee tasted very well, option to regulate heating in each room is great, lighting in rooms fantastic! Love attention to details. Thank you for a chance to visit spa in nearby hotel.

I would recommend to buy 15cm matress (recommended to prevent falls) for top bunk bed or put safety rails from the side. I couldnt sleep as i was worrried my son will fall out of the bed. Yorkshire tea is lovely but kids would like a fruit tea option.

A lovely stay, great sea views although as mentioned a few improvements to do.

No breakfast option as knew it was self catering. Nice quiet location with amazing sea views. Very nicely decorated ,comfy bed so great two nights sleep.

No toaster or welcome drink in fridge on arrival. Small fresh milk would have been a nice touch and the coffee machine didn’t work as the wrong coffee pods left for the machine so not compatible, I have the same machine at home. We were on the very top floor, no lift unfortunately but we got our steps in! Very clean comfortable apartment although there were loads of black flies all over the ceiling. Short walk to use the spa at The Red Lea hotel but still nice.

A different means of a accessing the building and better instructions for guests re: access and effective help if there

The digital key pad access system caused us stress and hassle as it wasn't working on several occasions. We had to get the owner out to give us access as the staff at the contact number provided couldn't help us.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful place

Lovely location, free parking outside and a nice sea view. Not far from the cliff lift or bridge into town. Decor is so beautiful, very “wow” the moment you walk in. Super clean and comfy.

Nothing much to complain about. The entrance code to get into the building is quite long, when it’s dark at night time you want to just get in quickly. Would be good if the QR code option could be used for speed. Just note there is no lift, not a problem for us but something to mention.

Mixed feelings. Some good points but not what we expected.

The property was modern, nicely decorated, clean and in a good location. The beds were comfortable .It was good to have use of the pool at the Red Lea hotel 5 minutes walk away.

It wasn’t what we expected. It was described as an apartment with a kitchenette. I was in a double cabana which was a bedroom containing the things mentioned in the description but not in a kitchenette. There was no food preparation area and dishes had to be washed up in the bathroom wash basin and drained in the shower. My daughters had family rooms which were bigger but again had no kitchenette. The description on Booking.com said “ meals can be prepared in the kitchenette “ but this clearly wasn’t possible. It’s fine for having a hot drink and a bowl of cereal in the morning, or heating something in the microwave but nothing more. The rooms are lovely but my issue is that the accommodation is not accurately described. Our group had 4 children in it and we were expecting to be able to prepare sandwiches and snacks for them but that wasn’t practical.
