A lovely hotel great location for exploring the area. Hoists were so welcoming couldn't do enough to make your stay so enjoyable. Very clean hotel beautifully decorated.

Meet and greet by the hosts-no.No reception at all,room key in a coded box.
Just come from the Craigie Hotel in Penicuik, also rated 4 star,where breakfast was 7-11 as are most hotels.This establishment,a B&B at best,thought we should all be up early,we are on holiday don’t forget,and the hosts chose a 1 hour breakfast 8-9 am very poor! Also breakfast had to be booked in 15 minutes slots and food ordered the night before.Personally I have not booked into an establishment that is so impersonal.Suffice to say we booked for 2 nights but chose to leave after 1.
