Lovely old property full of quirky features. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very generous in size and we're kept nice and warm. Nice outdoor spaces. Quiet area, close to Rye.
It's very hard to find in the dark, despite the instructions. Ideally there would be lights out front with signage. The kitchen lacked good equipment, like a sharp knife, which made cooking meals challenging. The sofas were a bit worn and uncomfortable, as were the mattresses. One bedroom did have a hole in the ceiling which housed some insects. Also the host was a little rude to us in the end when we inquired about using the fireplace.
