Great accompdation for relatively large group of 5 adjlts is good choice to stay in Gent in any period of the year!

Traditional house with separate rooms and large bathroom.

Clean and well organized spacious rooms to feel as at home in the part pf the town near the center!

Trap hole, AVOID!!!

On the first day, the host was responsive and did remove the crib that we didn't ask for, replaced the hand wash soap, shampoo, towel was provided and the single beds were made up but it was inconvenient to point out the faults or missing things. On the second day, the host did not respond to my messages. I would not recommend the place.

The apartment door has a broken lock from outside so the room was open when we came in. The mattresses were awful, it sunk deep in the middle and was inconvenient to sleep. The double bed is very low and has a wooden frame on the outer edges so it is likely you bump your shin into it. The bathroom has a separate door to the outside which wasn't locked from inside when we checked in. There was a sign on all the windows 'do not open' so there was no fresh air. The room was not prepared as per our family setup: the room had a crib although we didn't have a baby rather a teenager. Couple of single beds were also not made - the host blamed it on the cleaning lady. We were 4 but only 3 towels were provided. The bathroom had an empty shower bottle (showed carelessness) and used hand wash soap (lack of hygiene). The washbasin in the bathroom has to be reused to clean dishes. The cups and plates were not clean (lack of hygiene). The center is about 1.5+ kms walk away. Lastly the host messaged one day before that the parking is no longer free and the parking garage (cost 7€ for 24 hrs) nearby must be used. This could have been communicated earlier.

Great place to stay in Gent!

For our family of three kids (2, 7, 9) Traveling can be tricky. But this place was really a gem a long our way. The hostess is friendly and really helpful. The property is cleaned without fault and the beds really comfortable. Spacious bathroom with everything needed. Easy to park on the street and the host can help with locked parking if you ask. We will book this place on the way back if possible. Best stay on our way down from Sweden.

Nothing really, if you are old +70 the stairs up (even if it’s just one pair) is something to take into consideration.

Wir haben die Unterkunft aufgrund der Nähe zu Dok Noord ausgewählt, da wir auf einer mehrtägigen Veranstaltung dort waren. Wir waren zu zweit und haben zum Schlafen das Bett im Schlafzimmer genutzt. + WLAN Einrichtungsstil Heizen Ruhige Umgebung (im Haus selbst aber sehr laut, s.u.) Supermarkt 5 Min. zu Fuß Mikrowelle Bett war nicht unbequem

- Keine Ablage oder Aufhängungsmöglichkeiten für Kleidung und Mäntel in der Wohnung Sehr laut im Hausflur und Wohnung oben durch knarzen, man hört jedes Geräusch, Ohropax sind da wirkungslos Zu wenig Klopapier für 5 Nächte Kein Spülschwamm, Geschirr war nicht ganz sauber als wir kamen Kein kostenloses Parken in der Nähe Betten im Essenraum sind eher ungemütlich Hinweise aufgrund anderer Bewertungen: Man kann die Wohnung abschließen. Man kann in der Wohnung lüften (manche Fenster gehen aber nicht immer zu), im Schlafzimmer gibt es sogar ein Fliegengitter.

Buenas opción para explorar Flandes

Ubicación perfecta para visitar varias ciudades cercanas (Bruselas, Amberes, Brujas,...), llevábamos coche de alquiler y fue fácil aparcar por las inmediaciones, aunque es de pago.. Los dueños son muy amables y hablan español. Instalaciones cómodas y amplias, sobre todo el baño. En general es un sitio muy agradable.

Un poco lejos del centro, está a veinte minutos andando de la catedral. No tiene cocina, ya que no es un apartamento completo, aunque dispone de cafetera, microondas y frigorífico. Es curioso que no se puedan abrir las ventanas (está puesto en un cartel en cada una de ellas), desconocemos la razón.
