Cute cabin with a comfortable bed, nice garden (not enclosed/secure) but really handy for the dogs. Easy to find and very convenient for an overnight stay right off the A9.
A few too many rules given the nightly rate. The shower cubicle is very small. Saturday night is not the best night to stay as there seems to be a wedding/event marquee two doors down. There was a party taking place with loud music until late - I appreciate it’s not the owners’ fault but the proximity is unfortunate. A dog bowl or two would be a great addition.

The calm and quiet location was perfect - a wonderful change from the busy cities of Edinburgh, Dublin, Galway, and Cork! John and Shirley are wonderful hosts and amazing people. The cottage and surroundings were magical!

Loved the cosy log cabin. All details.
Should make it clear there is no breakfast. You have to strip the bed and clean the cabin before you leave- not my idea of a holiday for the price.
