Old Town 2-room apartment, Prime location

Although there was information on how to obtain the keys, it wasn't easy to find the locker behind the outside area at night. Despite this, the accommodation was great: recently renovated, clean, and with plenty of space.

Great location and clean apartment

The location is very close to the old town in Bratislava! Very easy to get to everything and with brill transport links The flat is very well furnished and equipped. When I had questions about checking in I was able to call someone who was very kind and helpful and gave me all the information I needed! Clear and reasonable expectations on check out (do washing up, put rubbish in flat bin, turn off lights) Lots of bedding provided and sofa bed was comfy

There are several doors between the road and the flat which need a key to open - the main flat door has an electronic lock which was a steep learning curve to use and I'm still not totally sure I always managed to lock it There were no instructions on the doors/locks and how to lock the door - there were some instructions on unlocking the door but unfortunately the code that was supposed to appear on the weblink sent which would unlock the door did not appear (there were several contact points provided however and the first contact I tried answered and was super helpful!) The flat had no instructions so it was trial and error to figure out the heating, how to set up sofa bed etc. The blinds let in a lot of light and there is a very bright light just outside the bedroom window with a proximity sensor so if lots of people are passing this can be very difficult to sleep with. I bought an eye mask so this was fine but deffo something to note

Good location, good shower water pressure.

The bathroom has a big hole in the wall showing exposed plumbing. The third bed was not made up on arrival even though we advised 3 people would be staying. Lockbox with key was in an awkward position to access, spare key was not in the lockbox. Also, we don’t have proof but we suspect the host/cleaner entered the apartment during our stay without our knowledge specifically to use the bathroom, as we came home from a day of sightseeing and found that the full roll of toilet paper we left at the start of the day had disappeared, and a second key had appeared in the lockbox!
