Incredible host lovely room perfect distance outside the centre. Makes for a lovely walk into the city. Host as very endearing and offered to help us with anything we needed.

L’accueil est super, Phuc l’hôte est d’une grande sympathie. La maison est très jolie, située dans un quartier 100% authentique que j’ai personnellement adoré, le meilleur endroit pour visiter Hanoï je trouve. La chambre est bien aménagée et propre, très agréable. J’ai même pu faire une lessive 🙏🏼 Plein de super restaurants et cafés à 5-10min de marche. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

En ce moment il y a malheureusement des travaux à proximité jour et nuit, mais j’ai quand même passé un excellent séjour

Ich habe 4 Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht und ich bin einfach begeistert von dem tollen Service. Das Beste, was ich auf meiner drei monatlichen Reise durch Vietnam erlebt habe. Mrs. Phuc hat ihr kleines Häuschen mit drei Gästezimmern mit Liebe gestaltet und für alles gesorgt, damit der Gast sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Man darf sogar die Waschmaschine umsonst benutzen. Die Küche vor dem Haus in einer ruhigen Sackgasse, darf man benutzen. Kaffee, Tee, Milch, Geschirr alles ist vorhanden. Es gibt gefiltertes Trinkwasser umsonst. Auf dem schönen kleinen Zimmer kann man auch Wasser kochen und den Balkon genießen. Alles ist sauber und Mrs. Pluck ist per WhatsApp immer zu erreichen und löst jedes Problem, Sie ist eine sehr, sehr liebenswerte Person und ich habe sie in mein Herz geschlossen und mich sehr gut mit Ihr unterhalten. In der Nähe gibt es kleine Geschäfte und lokale Restaurants. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Altstadt kann man zu Fuß laufen. Die Nachbarschaft ist auch sehr nett und nach zwei Tagen war ich schon bekannt. Das Bad ist mit einer High-Tech-Toilette versehen. Es gibt natürlich Tagsüber auch Baulärm und Geräusche. Es ist ja mitten in der Stadt. Aber das hat mich nicht gestört. Im Haus ist es sehr ruhig. Nachts konnte ich gut schlafen und mit Ohrstöpsel und Klimaanlage habe ich auch die Hähne vom Nachbar nicht gehört. Nochmal vielen Dank an die tolle Gastgeberin für den super Service und die schöne Zeit in dem kleinen Paradies. Ich würde immer wieder hier übernachten. Ich war einfach begeistert.

Positive: 1. Phuc (owner / manager) tries to be nice (but she also behaved a little bit weird at times (for example making me to leave my room before 12:00, because a new guests is coming, but check out is 12:00, or forgetting to give me the correct change (just minor amount of money), or ignoring me and totally focusing on another guest, while I was sitting 1 meter from her; or not really explaining where the kitchen is or making critical statements about me infront of another guest); good aspects of character are: general calmness and positive attitude, trying to be empathic 2. the facilities are actually very good (but not the sound aspects, see below) For the good aspects you will find good descriptions in the other reviews

Edit: I read the owners review and edit my reviw accordingly: I do not want to get into any argumentation fight with the owner. The main thing is, that this place is really loud, because of the roossters and the missing sound insolation. Many people have said so. Read other reviews, if you do not believe me, this is the old review: - owner did not mention, that there is a farm for chickens and roosters right opposit of the street (very close, a few meters) before checking in: this is actually a severe problem, because it is extremely loud, most of the day and also in the early morning / late night - the sound insolation is very poor (traditional house), so you can hear the roosters very nicely all the time This is NOT a fault of the owner. But it was very bad for my sleep. BUT: The owner should mention the level of noise in a message before arrival of guests, so that guests can cancel, if they can not deal with it. I was staying 5 nights in total. And I really suffered because of the noise and was very happy to leave. And this even so I was using very good ear plugs. If you are not believing me, check other reviews stating the same.. TO AVOID ANY MISUNDERSTANDINGS: The guest house is very nice and the owner tries to be nice! I even could leave my bag there, while I was making a trip to Cam Pha. Thank you also for the very good coffee and the efforts in connecting. But it is very loud. And to put things in perspective: I am constantly traveling since years. So, I have a bit of experience. If I come back to Hanoi, I will choose another place.
