If you're looking for an authentic Hanoi experience, Valoria is an excellent choice. Seeing the train pass through the narrow streets from my room was unforgettable and gave the stay a very special character. Despite being so close to the action, the room remained quiet and comfortable, allowing me to relax completely. Nam provided excellent service throughout my stay, always responding quickly and making sure everything went smoothly. I would gladly return here on my next trip.

The hotel was very clean, breakfast buffet was very good, the location--right next to Train Street--was excellent, and servide, friendliness, and helpfulness of the Staff was outstanding. I would particularly like to recognize Chiara for her exceptional service. She is a very intelligent young woman with a wealth of knowledge who can answer your travel questions almost before you ask them. If I were a businessman starting a business in Hanoi, I would hire Chiara immediately.
It is very small, and maybe I am just lazy, but my room was on the 8th floor and the elevator (lift) only goes to the 7th floor so I had to climb a small flight of stairs to get to my room. On the other hand, being on the 8th floor gave me a spectacular view of the Train Street activities below, Not a big problem since everything else was so great!

The room had a modern style while still feeling warm, cozy, and inviting. One of my favorite moments was relaxing by the window in the evening and watching the trains pass along Phung Hung Train Street. It gave the room a unique atmosphere that I hadn't experienced anywhere else in Hanoi. Nam was friendly, professional, and always available whenever I needed assistance, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Helpful staff. GREAT Breakfast
Plumbing / bathroom issues. Sink drain hose not secured, water leaks under shower glass covering floor, drains emit foul odors, sharp glass at bottom cut my toe when brushed against it. Balcony floor dirty room headboards, tops of TV, fridge etc, not properly dusted
