Was clean and tidy and comfortable.

Need to take 5mm off the toilet door to stop it catching on carpet, no milk for the tea/coffee, and an ashtray outside to save the doubts lying on the ground.

The rooms are big, clean and warm. The management were quick to respond to my phone call for a PIN access code. Chilled drinking water was available in the hall, and there were drinking glasses, mugs and tea & coffee facilities available in the room, as well as towels and a hairdryer. The bed is comfortable.

In one room (room 1) it was very noisy as it was right next to the external door to the property. The inner vestibule door creaked badly when it closed - a drop of oil would not go amiss. The light in bedroom one did not work while we were there. The pillows are way too high and firm - and this has been reported over many years by many reviewers. There was a small amount of handwashing liquid provided but no individual toiletries. There was no TV which was a downer as we wanted to watch the World Cup! The light in the other bedroom flickered incessantly - not pleasurable to be in there for any length of time.
