Great location and comfortable bed
No lift so staying on top floor was quite a climb.
The room was quite fusty and needed the window opening but didn’t help over the short period we were there.
Could have been a bit cleaner as I found an old tissues and some hair in the sink.
Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t unclean but just needs a bit more attention to detail.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the twin rooms (x2) that we booked were very clean and well presented. The location was great for us as we were at a gig at the OVO Hydro in which was a 20min walk with many pub stops along the way in which we liked. Also last but certainly not least was the breakfast in which was included within our room prices and that was plentiful and tasted great which set us up lovely for our short journey back down the M8 to Edinburgh.
It’s not strictly speaking the hotels issue but could have done with some free parking behind the building or off street somewhere. As we drove and there was only on street parking which was expensive we ended up at a multi storey car park which was 2min drive and on our return next day a 10min walk which cost only £20 for our overnight stay. Also this hotel is actually a B&B so no bar in house but wasn’t a major issue as headed out quite quickly after our arrival.

Room was a broom closet.Bathroom was exceptionally small.
Heavy dust everywhere even next to bed behind the glass,bed hadn’t been made properly.Dirt or rust on the walls from what looked like a rusty bathroom mirror,to be expected in a room with no ventilation.
Windows were thin so could hear every single passing vehicle.couldnt sleep until 5am and that was after a rock concert.
