Quick access to the university. Free parking on street between 6pm - 8am.
Twin room was good size, beds comfy, powerful shower, kettle in room with complimentary items.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great, with Kelvinbridge subway station very nearby. There was opportunity for a cooked breakfast every morning (I did not partake, as that's too much food for me). I instead had cereal, of which there was a selection.
My only complaint about my room was the shower -- the water pressure was rather low.

The hotel is in an ideal location for west end. There are plenty of restaurants of various cuisines and bars. There is a subway station across the road (Kelvinbridge) which will get you into central Glasgow in 4 minutes or further into the west end in a few minutes too.
It is an old building and, whilst pleasant, there are some disappointing features. You have to try to push the toilet handle at least 8 or 9 times before it will actually flush the toilet. the shower pressure is very low and I cant speak for other rooms but in my room the shower water was either freezing cold or scorching hot . no matter how much you try to adjust the settings.
