Pik 'n Wyntjie

A huge thank you to our host Marie so helpful and kind to check in and help with whatever we needed.The home was just the escape we were looking for we enjoyed the hot tub,the surroundings,the pool table and fire place .Overall we all agreed kids and adults that we would love to visit there again.From us Mel,Jerome,Anthea,Caleb and Connor we had an awesome time thank you Marie .

Nothing really.

We came with 6 adults and 4 kids and had a really lovely weekend at the house. Our parents stayed in the flatlet and the families with kids stayed in the big house. The location was in a quiet part of the town and the kids were able to ride their bikes around, which they loved. The pool table and the flat grass were a big hit with the kids.

Some amenities that are often included in rental houses were not provided for this house - for example one bag of firewood and bath towels. It would have been helpful to have had an option to order wood for the hot tub to the house ahead of time instead of having to drive to Kleinmond to collect the wood on arrival. Also, the host sent a note indicating that bath towels are not included but we did not see the message until we were on our way to the house. The host was able to provide towels once we let her know, but it may be helpful for others to know of this ahead of time. Some of the appliances are on the older side and weren't in perfect working order. As other reviewers have indicated, the hot tub is quite small and shallow, but it was in good working order. Overall, for the price, we were quite happy with the house and had a lovely weekend.

Pool table’s condition was poor and a new outdoor braai is needed.

The Most breath taking Sunsets from the pretty Garden. We had ample space, peace and serenity. A Close walk to the beach. The house was comfortable inside & it has a great porch, that my dog thoroughly enjoyed It Felt very private.
