Very spacious for two people, well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the town. The town was really peaceful, we went to some lovely home style restaurants and met some very friendly locals. The town is a short train ride from nakatsugawa and has grocery stores a short walk away. Beds super comfortable!
There was a slight smell from the drains but was avoided with shutting the bathroom doors.

景色の良い高台にあるので、坂下の里山の雰囲気を楽しめます。
ゆっくり畳敷きのお部屋でくつろげました。
とても古い家屋ですが、清潔に保たれており、お風呂もゆっくり浸かって疲れを取ることができました。
オーナーさんが何かあるとすぐに返信してくれるので助かりました。
日当たりがよいのは良かったのですが、朝日が差し込むので朝５時から部屋が明るくなり目が覚めてしまいました。遮光カーテンか雨戸などで対応できないものか。。。
やや下水っぽい匂いがする。トイレとキッチンが気になりました。
キッチンのお皿が小さいモノしかなくて朝食の時に困りました。
お風呂に洗面器がない。脱衣所がないので、誰かの入浴時には部屋をでれない。せめて台所の扉がしまれば、トイレや玄関にでれるのですが、閉められないようになってため、居間の扉をあけると脱衣しているのが丸見えになってしまう。

Cool location in a quiet sleepy town, after spending a lot of time in cities it was a nice break. Futons very comfortable
It’s described as a hunting cabin style and that’s true, for better or worse. Wasn’t exceptionally clean, saw a few bugs alive and dead. A bit of a bad smell in the main room. The kitchen didn’t have a single knife which would have been useful. I don’t mind a night or two in a more rustic setting, but for some this could be a turnoff.
