Amazing location in the heart of old town Takayama made it so easy to explore the town day and night. The property comes with a parking space which was very convenient as well. The house itself is modest and small but it is kept very cute and tidy and the tatami/ bedding upstairs were super comfortable. The view from the upstairs balcony is also great. The shower amenities are top notch.
The only thing to note is the stairs to the sleeping area is more like a ladder so be prepared for a little climb. This may be an issue for someone with mobility problems
