Just the extra bed wasn’t comfy enough, but the rest was perfect.

The hotel is very clean, and the room facilities are quite modern. There is a clothes dryer, a smart toilet, and a projector. If the kids get bored, they can play games or watch TV. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Right from the very start, they picked us up from the outside of the old town (more on this below), and helped us with the luggage. We also got a free upgrade of the room. The breakfast is good for a small guesthouse like this. You can't expect a full blown breakfast buffet like in a big hotel. Another highlight of the place is their rooftop terrace which is absolutely beautiful — a great spot for taking lovely photos! You also chill at the rooftop at night if the weather is good. One useful tip to those who are worried about how to find the hotel and get the luggage in (especially since there are so many guesthouses in the old town and your taxi driver will likely know the destination by the name you give them), you can take a taxi from the high-speed railway station to their place. On Amap, set the destination to 祥子便利店 near the South Gate of Lijiang Old Town. When you arrive at the entrance, give them a call and they will bring a small cart to help carry your luggage. Although it is only a short stretch of stone-paved road, having them help with the luggage really saves a lot of effort.

Breakfast was great, the owner and staff are very helpful and were going out of the way to help you, the location is fantastic close to everything including the bus to the Jade dragon mountain, the romance park show. The room is very comfortable very nice shower and toilet and heated towel rail.

This guesthouse is located right inside Lijiang Old Town and the location is absolutely spot on. It’s less than a two-minute walk (around 90 metres) from the drop-off point, which is incredibly convenient. The owner was exceptionally kind and thoughtful – they met us at the entrance of the Old Town to help carry our luggage and also assisted us again when we were leaving, which made the whole experience completely hassle-free.

There is a lovely Bernese Mountain Dog on the property, and the views from the third-floor terrace are fantastic. You can enjoy a panoramic view over the Old Town, with Jade Dragon Snow Mountain visible in the distance. The room was very clean and tidy, and all the amenities provided were of good quality. Another big plus is the location – it’s only a two-minute walk (just over 200 metres) to Zhongyi Night Market, making it extremely easy to explore local food and shops. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The guesthouse felt very safe, clean and convenient, and we would highly recommend it.
