    Choosing Cloud Villa over a large luxury chain was one of the best decisions of our Yunnan trip. It offers something far more personal: genuine warmth, thoughtful service, and the feeling of being truly cared for. The staff were exceptional from beginning to end. The women at the front desk were incredibly kind, attentive, and wonderful with children, making this one of the most family-friendly places we stayed. Every afternoon, we returned to a generous spread of nourishing snacks, nuts, milk, juices, and drinks. At night, another thoughtful selection arrived before bedtime, including warm milk or soy milk and additional treats. Breakfast was equally generous and beautifully prepared. The service went far beyond expectations. The team received our packages, carried our luggage, and helped with every detail. When we had to leave very early in the morning, a staff member personally walked us to the most convenient pickup point and made sure my child and I were safely on our way. The location is ideal: inside Lijiang Old Town, yet slightly removed from the busiest area, so it still feels peaceful. The main attractions are only a short walk away, and there is a local market and convenience store right beside the hotel. From arrival to departure, Cloud Villa made us feel safe, welcomed, and completely looked after. The hospitality was outstanding, the attention to detail was remarkable, and we would book this hotel again without hesitation.

    This is the best hotel we stayed at during our Yunnan trip. The whole vibe of the hotel gives a Classical Chinese feel with modern amenities. The courtyard looks like it came right out the setting of a period Chinese Drama. We loved the vibe so much that we are considering coming here just for a one week retreat next time. The location is very convenient. Right in the ancient city, which was the best ancient city among the many we have visited during this trip that covered Dali, Kunming, Lijiang and Shangri-La. I want to especially commend the staff for the exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious. They even delivered a “goodnight milk and snacks”!

    这家民宿的位置绝佳，就在丽江古城的核心地带，出门即是美景，逛古城、尝美食都超级方便。虽然需要步行3-5分钟才能到达（古城内无法通车），但如果你是带腿脚不便的老人或有语言沟通困难，服务人员会非常热心地帮忙提行李、耐心引导，让人倍感温暖。 民宿本身精致漂亮，庭院花园打理得赏心悦目，房间也干净舒适。最让我感动的是无可挑剔的服务，尤其是燕子——她真的在用真心对待每一位客人，热情、周到、体贴，言语无法形容她的好。 总之，这里的花园、房间、人情味都让人念念不忘，强烈推荐！
