Zome Yunju - Skyview Villa, Lijiang Old Town

The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—our room offered stunning views of both the ancient town and the surrounding mountains. The room itself was spacious and spotless, while the hotel’s traditional design gave it a charming, antique feel. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, even surprising us with a special bedtime dessert. We traveled with our child and loved the family room—two connecting bedrooms gave us plenty of space and privacy. Breakfast was another highlight, even better than the famous Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles! We’ll definitely be back.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the stunning view, which made our stay in Lijiang even more memorable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. Staff were welcoming and attentive.

The hotel boasts a prime location, nestled on a hillside within Lijiang Old Town, offering unobstructed panoramic views of the city's skyline. While the hotel itself is a traditional Chinese courtyard house, all amenities, including dedicated butler service, are up to five-star hotel standards. It's definitely one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed in recently.

If I had to nitpick, the hotel is a bit pricey. But you get what you pay for.
