Renovated Condo Near Waikiki Beach

I liked the location a lot - it was close to the bus stop and lots of restaurants, as well as the Dukes Market - and the price was fair. The condo was clean on arrival. There was ample linen and towels, even beach towels, which was nice. There were some other items for the beach, but some of them were broken - We were able to use two of the chairs, and the one umbrella was not broken. - we really appreciated that. The kitchen was good except it could do with a baking tray in the oven. I bought some aluminium foil to save the oven racks from getting messed up. I also bought Teaspoons, there were none there - but other than that, the kitchen was really good. It was great to have a communal washer and dryer available. We were there during the tropical storm Lala, and the building stood its ground. There were notices in the lifts on what to do, which was good.

The TV was not working and the toaster was broken, as well as the toilet roll holder on the bathroom wall. This was replaced and sorted but only on day 6 of our stay. There were no plugs (Stoppers) for the bathtub and the kitchen sink. The bathtub plug was resolved, but we never got one for the kitchen sink. Suggestion: Take the broken and redundant stuff out of the condo, its just confusing, and a waste of space. There are heaps of old remotes and other odd things that are not relevant to the condo anymore. There is also a broken toaster there now because they replaced it while we were there, but never took the old one. Check the notice on the wall above the chest of drawers in the bedroom, because some of the instructions on there are not correct anymore. Getting the door key etc was a nightmare, as I was not receiving the email with the instructions due to my phone not gettting internet down stairs. (there is no wifi at reception) - the mailed instructions must have come through while I was in transit on the airoplane. We eventually got the email opened and this worked, but the process is clunky, and not good for someone who has just come off a long haul flight. Only being able to check in a 4pm is very difficult for tired travellers that are coming from a faraway destination that is not in America.

Great location. Great communication.

I loved everything about the property definitely would stay again.

Keyed and secured at night. Parking included.

Constant maintenance of leaky spots and cautious with everything else.
