This was a great hotel just on the edge of the town so ability to park on street right outside for free. It was a 15 minute walk to the Sasi. The host was fantastic gave us a map as soon as we arrived telling us where to go with list of highlights and restaurants. The room was really nice with a comfy bed. Nice bathroom with toiletries. We had the room with the hot tub but we didn't use it. There's a coffee machine and fridge and access to coffee, milk, tea. The breakfast was 2 large croissants each which were so big we took with us. This is a great property highly recommend. It's reasonably priced, very clean, friendly staff and easy parking. Nice decor as well.

Conveniently just outside the main area - simple 10 /15 minute walk from the property to the heart of the city. Great style and great facilities. Plenty of free parking around the property.
Staff were superb - gave us guides, best viewing points and a what’s app video of directions. Very well thought through accommodation by the hosts

We really enjoyed our stay! The host was super friendly and gave us helpful maps and tips on what to see and where to eat in Matera. The room was small but very cute, comfy, and super clean. Breakfast was included, and there were also extra drinks like coffee, juice, milk, and water at the entrance. Would definitely recommend!

The property was really clean and in nice design. We enjoyed the bath tube available. We were able to check in way earlier (11 am) which was very convenient for us. Giuseppe who was checking us in was super nice, friendly, welcoming and informative. The contact with the landlord was also nice. The location is not very central but it’s close to some grocery shops, and the walk to the city centre was actually pretty nice.
We definitely recommend others to book the rooms without the spa. Our room with the spa was fully underground which we didn’t get from the room description. There was only one small window which was making the place claustrophobic. Also, there was a lot of humidity in the room, as well as mould in the bathroom (both factors caused a bad smell in the room). Overall, I believe that the whole property is very nice and as long as you book “normal rooms” then I’d rate it 8/10. But the underground location and humidity in the spa room unfortunately made us uncomfortable.
