Early check-in. Super nice host. Free Water was in the fridge. Close to city center. Nice breakfast in the cafe next door was included.

We had a fantastic stay at Annunziatella Suite & Rooms in Matera. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a great location — only about a 10 minute walk from the Sassi, making it ideal for exploring the city while still being in a quieter area.
Alessandro was an excellent host. Despite speaking little English, he spent a huge amount of time giving us recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Matera, many of which we ended up using and really enjoyed. His kindness and enthusiasm genuinely added to our experience of the city.
We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Matera.

Die Lage ist ideal, leicht abseits der vollen Sassi, aber man ist in 5 Minuten dort. Das Zimmer und Bad sind sauber, groß und hochwertig. Der Pizzabäcker direkt schräg unterhalb der Wohnung ist hervorragend. Das Frühstückscafé gegenüber sehr nett.
Wer sehr lärmempfindlich ist, sollte bedenken, dass vor der Haustür (das Zimmer ist im ersten Stock) eine gut befahrene Straße entlang geht. Die Fenster dämmen aber gut und mit Ohrenstöpsel war es gar kein Problem.
