Convenient location, about a 10 minute walk to Sassi. Room was well appointed, beds were comfortable. Very secure.
Breakfast very basic, prepackaged in the room when we arrived, just very average croissants, bread, jam, plus coffee.tea. But when I asked for milk to go with tea or coffee they didn't have any, maybe ok for Europeans who drink black coffee but was disappointing for us.
When we arrived with large bags the lady helped us to get into the lift which arrived on the 1st floor at a small balcony, she needed keys for us to use it. But when we came to depart around 9.15am the next morning no-one was there to help with the lift. We did find a way, but had to exit through a back carpark. Difficult with large bags.

Spazi ampi, bella terrazza e posizione strategica per visitare la città.
Pulizia da migliorare, colazione impresentabile che non abbiamo ovviamente consumato (tutto confezionato, stile Covid, e di scarsissima quantità e qualità), dettagli poco curati (posacenere sulla terrazza pieno di mozziconi lasciati dagli ospiti precedenti, piante morte, muro del bagno con buco e crepe).

"Location is great. We took a bus to Matera. When you arrive, it is best you take a taxi to the sassi area as it is quite a distance from the only bus stop in Matera. The hotel is just a 3 minutes walk..."
