There was no breakfast, room only. But there was a great Michelin-rated restaurant on the way to the main piazza, which we utilised.

The location of the street, then the building, were difficult to find. Locals, who misread the street, sent us in a different direction. Construction barriers caused major detour. But an easy 100 meters from train stop.

Super lejlighed, tæt på byen og stranden, perfekte parkeringsforhold, perfekt kommunikation med ejer, vedr. indcheckning mm. Og hun hjælp med lidt små indkøb, der var sat i lejligheden da vi ankom, grundet det var national helligdag, så supermarkederne var lukket, super service. Alt var perfekt.

This property is nicely appointed with large, comfortable beds and all the amenities you’d want in a room. We stayed in a room, not a suite. It was roomy and clean. The armoire was large enough for our clothing (2 ppl). The bathroom is updated and works well. The suites are on the 3rd floor but not a problem since there is an elevator. Our hostess checked in with us over the course of our stay and made some excellent recommendations for sight seeing and for meals. Overall, this was an excellent stay that made our time in Matera (a work-related stay) easy and enjoyable. On the sightseeing side, this property is a 5 minute walk to the main piazza and Sassi.

Parking on the street was a challenge during the daytime, likely because the apartment is close to Sassi. Evening parking was much easier.
