About this house rental
Gated, beautiful ocean front, modern home. Very unique semi-private getaway. A great west coast living experience; close to world renowned West Coast Trail, plus numerous other hiking trails in lush rainforests and many nearby scenic beaches. Sooke is known for excellent salmon and halibut fishing and whale watching. Kayaks and canoe rentals are nearby, plus several golf courses, including famous Bear Mountain courses in Langford, approximately 30 minutes away. Lovely city of Victoria is a 40 minute drive away. Choose to stay in...enjoy indoor fireplace or outdoor patio, while gazing at Olympic Mountains across the ocean view from the house and wildlife crossing the lawn surrounding the house. If there is a chef in you, the house is very well equipped.
Garage and travel trailer (by gate entrance) is only for owner's private use (house stock/supplies, maintenance equipment/tools, and personal activities.) Currently, a house is being built there is house on adjacent lot to the Vrbo rental. However, does not obscure/impede ocean front view and access to/from rental house.

The home was a feast for the senses.The view spectacular. On arrival day, seals seemed to linger in front of the house, as if to welcome us. What an unexpected treat.Ample room, two full baths were wonderful. We plan to return. Thank you

Gorgeous home right on the water, this place is private, quiet and well stocked. It is comfy, clean and tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our time here!

The view is spectacular and the cottage is modern, extremely well maintained and has everything you need and more. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for an excellent nights sleep. The highway is just behind the cottage, but we didn’t notice any traffic noise and felt very serene. It is well situated and close to all amenities. I recommend this property and would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.
