Welcome to Haus Rehkitz—your retreat in the picturesque northern Emsland, right in the heart of the scenic Hümmling region!
Following the tremendous success of our first Haus Rehkitz in the Schloss Dankern vacation area, we now invite you to discover our newly renovated second property in the enchanting Sögel vacation area.
Spanning 82 square meters across two levels, this modern yet cozy home is perfectly designed to accommodate up to 5 guests.
On the first floor, you’ll find an inviting open-concept kitchen that’s perfect for cooking and dining together, a comfortable bedroom with a double bed, and a stylish bathroom with a shower and toilet. A practical storage room and a spacious hallway with access to the upper floor perfectly round out the layout.
On the upper floor, you’ll find a bright hallway, another modern bathroom with a toilet, equipped with a washer and dryer, as well as another cozy bedroom with a double bed and a comfortable sleeper chair—ideal for restful nights.
The area surrounding the Sögel vacation home community is a true paradise for nature lovers and dogs! Explore vast forests, idyllic meadows, picturesque ponds, and the impressive Baroque castle complex at Clemenswerth. Adventure-seeking guests will get their money’s worth at the high ropes course right behind the house—a highlight that even the youngest family members will love.

As guests in the Sögel vacation home area, you can enjoy a wide range of recreational activities in the town of Sögel (prices subject to change):
- At the “Fitness & Gesundheit Sögel” gym (approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area) and Era-Gym Sögel (approx. 2,500 m from the vacation home area): free weight area, cardio equipment, strength training machines, and various classes / day pass: 10.00 EUR per person, including water and mineral drinks
- Sauna area at the Hotel Clemenswerther Hof with two saunas (60°C and 90°C) / 1,500 meters from the vacation home area / Fee: 12.50 EUR per person per day, including water and tea / Please bring your own towels and, if needed, a bathrobe
- Indoor and outdoor tennis facilities at TV-Rot-Gold Sögel e. V. / approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area / Fee per outdoor court per hour: 6.00 EUR / Indoor courts: price upon request
- Sögel Climbing Forest: 10% discount on the regular ticket price / approx. 500 m from the vacation home area
- Boules court, including balls / approx. 1,600 m from the vacation home area / Free to use
- Outdoor chess board with large pieces in the vacation home area / Free to use
The Sögel vacation home area will be expanded at the end of 2026. Noisy construction work will begin in November 2026 and end in March 2027. No construction work will take place between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Quiet hours in the Sögel vacation home area will be observed even during construction!
