This is an excellent location for a family stay when you like to have the feeling to live among the locals, with a historical touch (next to the former Orthodox Church) in the French Concession area. It's very nearby to the Huaihai Rd. and Weihai Rd. shopping places. restaurants and bars. So, if that is your goal then this place is an excellent location to stay.
The Wi-Fi was of low quality, but we had our own unlimited E-SIM package installed before we landed in Shanghai.

The host and the homestay were incredibly friendly; we received a warm welcome and wonderful hospitality, including complimentary bottled water and a bonus fruit platter. The service was absolutely 10/10 truly deserving of a perfect rating.
