Excellent location. Well-managed property. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was great, both the buffet breakfast and the Chinese restaurant on the second floor.
Worth noting: If you are offered to pay the food bill in CNY or USD using a foreign credit card, always choose CNY! The exchange rate would be much more fair.

Everything was good. We had nothing to say bad about Okura Garden Shanghai. The only complaint was the housekeeping lady who pressed our door bell three times between 4 and 5 pm to check if she could make up our room. When we asked her to come back at 5:30, she replied bitterly though politely that her shift finished at 6.

The room was good and clean. Spacious enough for two people and the bathroom was actually comfortable!! The staff was always nice and helpful. Especially the housekeepers!! We only had the breakfast buffet one morning but it was delicious and reasonably priced!! Well worth the $25 American dollars!! I would absolutely stay here again
