Stylish 2-Bedroom Apartment Near York Minster, Rydale House - Sleeps 4

This apartment is superbly located just off the historical centre of the city and within easy walking distance of supermarkets and loads of dining and shopping options. The facilities are high-end: Everything is very comfortable and there are nice little luxury touches such as sensor-activated lights in bathroom areas and walk-in closets. Carpets are plush, beds are comfy, kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped and all other rooms are well decorated, highly functional and comfortable.

The view from the apartment is probably the one thing that "lets it down" given that it is comprised of a parking lot, a vacant site, which might become a construction site one day as well as a sad looking building with no windows in the distance. You do get views of the river Ouse as well as willows and a bridge too so it's not all miserable looking. There is a risk though that the vacant lot might become a construction site one day in the near future. Already a building site was underway a bit down the street. The apartment is however well insulated and we were never disturbed by noise.

Very well kept, extremely spacious throughout. Lots of little touches of milk sugar coffee tea shampoos etc. great position, easy walk into town

Sofas too low for oldies like us 🤭 had trouble getting up although very comfortable. Needs curtains with the netting in lounge as sun glare can be quite strong and also reflects on wall mounted tv. Shower water too hot
