Studio 4 Carré d'Or

The property is in a great location, has all the amenities for a week off. Everything is clean and new

It is a little small, but for two people staying in for a week it’s more than enough

Great location close to Promenade des Anglais and the touristic streets as well as the train station. All the facilities except the ones from the little terrace seemed to be new. Easy accomodation and efficient communication with the administrator.

I chose extremely rarely properties hold by private persons (and not a hotel) and now I remember why: there were ants everywhere in the studio. I turned on the lights in the bathroom during the night because I was afraid they might bite me. I understand that it is very hot and the insects proliferate but still... The studio cannot be properly ventilated by fresh air because the little terrace is missing a net against insects which is not nice at all. Probably the bed linen was clean but you can't notice it because the bed sheet was white in immemorial time and since the other pieces are extremely worn and thin. My impulse was not to spend a second more than necessary in this studio. Too bad for the great location and new utilities (it is newly renovated and all in all,' clean).
