    The room is a decent size and in walking distance of the main train station, a tube stop right outside and a 30min walk into the main centre.

    We stayed at Hotel St. Martin for our first night in Rome after arriving on an evening flight from Bangkok. We specifically wanted somewhere convenient for Roma Termini because we had an early train to Milan the following morning, and for that purpose the hotel worked extremely well. Check-in was quick and easy after a very long travel day. The hotel and room were modern and comfortable, and we had no issues with our overnight stay. The location was probably the biggest advantage for us. The following morning it was only about a 10-minute walk with our luggage to Roma Termini, making it a very convenient choice when traveling by train. Breakfast was included and had a decent selection. Everything was fine, although the breakfast room was extremely busy when we went down at 7:00 AM. Our biggest complaint was the coffee setup. There were only two coffee machines serving a packed breakfast room, resulting in unnecessarily long lines. For an Italian hotel—where coffee is practically a necessity—that setup could definitely be improved. Overall, we thought Hotel St. Martin was a good hotel. Nothing about our room or the service gave us any reason for concern, and its combination of comfort and proximity to Termini made it particularly useful for our itinerary. Would we stay again? Yes. Especially if we needed a comfortable hotel for a night before or after a train journey from Roma Termini. The breakfast coffee situation was frustrating, but it wouldn’t prevent us from returning.

    Room is comfortable, but don’t expect you can use the jacuzzi provided. It is dirty and not functioning.
