Greek hospitality at its best. The hosts were incredibly kind and caring throughout our stay. Even bringing food and snacks later during our stay! When one of us became sick, they even prepared a homemade pan of soup for us, which we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. Exactly what we needed. Thanks to their warmth and generosity, we were able to have a wonderful time in Crete. They made us feel like we were at home. Will surely come back here the next time.

The property was very spacious and furnished, in a quiet residential neighborhood. There's (free) parking right outside. Cleanliness was impeccable. All the amenities one could possibly need (and more) were provided. We even got gifts on arrival and before departure! Irene was a very friendly and welcoming host. We had an absolutely lovely stay for a great price and can definitely recommend.

This is not a dislike, since the location is really quite nice, but it might be most suited for travelers coming with a car. It is in the neighborhood of Xeropotamos, about 5 km away from the city center of Heraklion. We did not try the public transportation so not sure if it's accessible that way.
