Sliding the window open (nearest to the in-tune guitar, and display case) to see what the noise was outside and discovering there's an actual view of Mount Fuji (on a clear day). 2 bidets, onsite washing machine and the sento were nice. A single pod of soap remained and we used that minutes after arriving as we have been in mountains the stop before we arrived here. I let the owner know we had bought more and a bag of fresh pods were delivered to the doorstep by the time we returned. Clean, tidy, and impressive so we made an extra effort to leave the property in the same condition we found it. To be honest, it was the best floorspace to price ratio of all our stays on this Japan trip... but there was only 3 of us and this house hosts maybe 9 or 10. I heard the owner has a bar nearby which was marked in maps as temporarily closed. Shame that, as we would have definitely visited. Would I visit here again? Absolutely would.

Only loses a single point because of the business next door clunking trolleys around early in the morning. I think it's a bakery, but folk have to earn a living and folk have to eat. No big deal but light sleepers may want to know this in advance.

Bigger than I expect, it could fit 8 plus people, great for large group and close to station

Little noisy during 3 am to 5 am because of bakery store behind the house begins baking
