the convenience store is located a bit far away . also the 2nd floor staircase is a bit too steep for elderly folks and young kids

A perfect place to experience Fuji-san. Cottage Pastorale is steps away from Lake Kawaguchiko. We walked to the lake a few times a day and biked around the area daily. The weather was perfect, the host was kind, polite, and very easy to reach with messaging tools. We loved having the bikes accessible at all times, very thoughtful of the host and so perfect for the Kawaguchiko area. We were able to bike around the lake, to Oishi park and to the nearby convenience stores. The apartment was spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped. There’s also a patio with a picnic table in the backyard to enjoy your morning coffee or to listen to the nightly chorus of frogs.
It’s not truly two bedrooms as one room is more like a large landing area at the top of the stairs with a closet. There was no door.
