Had meer verwacht voor de prijs die je betaald. Bijvoorbeeld een welkom drankje, koffie op de kamer, barretje om ‘s avonds iets te bestellen.

The outdoor pool was beautiful and peaceful. And the breakfast chef is a genius! Beautiful fresh fruits and freshly baked cakes were outstanding. Marianna (apologies for misspelling!) the manager was lovely.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the two rooms I booked were not fit for purpose and were extremely loud. My room felt tired and shabby, with a dated appearance that did not reflect the level of quality I had anticipated. The other room was of a higher standard. Both rooms remained uncomfortably hot even when the air conditioning was switched on, and on my first night it was not functioning at all in my room. While I appreciate that equipment can breakdown, I was disappointed by the lack of an appropriate contingency plan and customer care. There was no portable air conditioning unit or fan available, and the staff did not appear adequately prepared to manage the situation. I had to suggest that they find a cot bed and put one into my daughter’s room so that we could make the situation more manageable as the bedroom was ultimately not suitable for use due to the excessive heat, and yet, I was still charged for it. My suggestions (is there a portable a/c unit? no, Is there a fan? no, Is there a foldup cot bed? i dont know) were met with a lack of support and general lack of empathy that was particularly disappointing and had a significant impact on my stay. I would have expected a hotel to have suitable measures in place to address a situation like this and minimise the inconvenience to guests. The air con unit is also extremely loud - ear plugs are must.

Locked up at 9pm then no staff so if you’re a late arrival they give you a video in the dark to access room. No food or drink available apart from room bar with no bottle opener and nothing to eat. Same every night. On a main road with no shops or restaurants to walk to. Rule card to say no food or drinks to be brought in. No wardrobe Just a part ion between toilet and bedroom, no privacy .
