Amazing place to stay if you’re visiting Monopoli - perfect central location close to everything, beautiful and clean rooms, very tasty breakfast, and the staff is so friendly and nice! We loved our stay and will definitely be back

The staff and owners were lovely and served complimentary breakfast and coffee every morning. The hotel is right in the old town, which was super convenient to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. I was worried about parking, since no cars are allowed in the old town, but there was plenty of public parking (which was free) that the hotel helped us with. We had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.
The rooms were a little dark since the hotel is built in a cave. Would be great if a few lamps were added :)

Sara was an exceptional host. I booked a last minute stay and Sara provided useful suggestions on where to go and what to eat. I also had to navigate a train strike and she helped me arrange my travel around it.
Besides Sara and Mauro’s hospitality, my room my beautiful and clean. It is centrally located and the perfect jumping off place for a trip in Puglia. Highly recommend.

The interior design was nice and the location was exceptional
It is not a hotel and should not be marketed as such. It was more an air bnb . No on site reception, no proper coffee/kettles and no daily cleaning (maybe once in our 3 nights). Billing did not match the booking and zero explanations when queried. ‘It is what it is’ was the explanation. Shower stalls didn’t always drain properly and one of our rooms was flooded. But worst of all were the steps - beware of booking the suite. Beautiful terrace but the ladder to the room was ridiculous. This was not communicated prior so they should be more transparent
