Bridge Cottage Hot tub Enclosed garden Tranquility

The cottage was very clean, cosy and comfortable with a lovely little welcome note and homemade cake waiting for us. The garden was sweet and the hot tub is a lovely addition.

It would have been nice to have a nice country/forest walking path locally so we could just walk from the cottage rather than jumping in a car each time. There are two neighbours one either side with one doing work on the property and the other an elderly neighbour so we were very aware of that and our noise level. The biggest thing was the hornets, there are a couple around the garden and one that entered the kitchen but they did no harm.

Good location for the forest of Dean, quiet location, made good use of hot tub, well equipped house, spacious, clean.

Absolutely stunning property, in a beautiful quiet location amongst nature. Fantastic enclosed garden for the dog, lovely warm hot tub. Hosts baked a beautiful cake for our arrival and it was delicious. Plenty of space in every room, amazingly clean and immaculate. Loved the dvd, books and games provided. Everything we wanted to explore was within a 10 minute drive. Lots of forestry and lake walks which the dog loved. Neighbours were lovely and informed us of local shops, etc. Plenty of information provided by the host. We spent 5 nights here and didn't want to cone home. Was great seeing deers, buzzards and the usual wildlife. A perfect place to come and relax. We hope it's available next year because there is still so much to see and do. We've gone home feeling relaxed and refreshed.
