Very old styled English cottage with a lovely garden in a valley next to the woods. (Forest of Dean). Only a handful of houses around. Very quiet at night, only a brown owl shouting 😉. 5min by car to Tescos in Cinderford, 30min to Gloucester centre.
The heating did not work on arival and the rental company Sykes was quite unfriendly once contacted for. But then we were contacted by the owner and everything was being solved very friendly and helpful.

Beautifully kept cottage. Thoughtfully and tastefully presented. The garden was tended and a bonus to enjoy but also the surrounding forest walks were just on the doorstep.

The cottage is in a quiet hamlet surrounded by forest. There is a huge garden and lots of options for walks from the front door. The house was really well kitted out with everything you might need. It has a homely cottage appeal and is pretty spacious. I would happily return for a restful get-away.
It was rather cold but we did stay in a very cold spell in January. It soon warmed up once the log fire was lit.
