DIDN'T STAY. DRUG DEN AND SKETCHY

Nothing. Left immediately

Sketchy and dirty place. Firstly whole building reeks of marijuana smoke. I still checked the apartment. My daughter 12 y.o. got immediately sick as soon as we walked inside. Lock and door handles flimsy. I checked the room and left immediately. Unsafe and very sketchy for families. I've been using booking.com for years. NEVER AGAIN. As the property owner still charging me. DISGUSTING AND SHAMEFUL!!!!

Cozy one bedroom perfect for short stay

Stayed before a half marathon race and was perfect for a one night stay. We cooked dinner and breakfast there and relaxed and did nothing and this was very cozy for this purpose. We talked about renting it again.

Fine but overall disappointing because of a few small inconveniences

Nice location. Full apartment with kitchen

The heater was not turned on when we arrived and we had to call and ask how to operate it. We were able to get it to run but it wasn’t functioning as intended and didn’t seem to turn off. We only stayed one night so it was fine otherwise it would’ve been a bigger deal. It started raining overnight and the drips of collected water started tapping very loudly on the ac unit. This needs addressing as neither of us were able to sleep through the night at all.

Quirky, pleasant accommodation.

Communication with owner was clear, concise and very helpful. Appreciative of the videos on how to gain entry and location of flat within the building. You could get lost without them. Close to (cheap) public transport for getting downtown. Great pub across the road which serves great sliders. Plenty of free street parking. Obviously set within an old industrial part of town with not much around , but that made our nights very peaceful and quiet.

We felt that the bed was too small. There was no kettle , so we had to boil water using pans on the stove. I'm aware this loft is within an old industrial unit, but we would have appreciated an elevator as the stairs are quite steep and trying to lug 2 big suitcases up them was a struggle. Couldn't find the washing machine that was advertised.

I absolutely loved the cleanliness of the place. I loved that we had everything we needed and the host met all of my accommodations!! Will be booking this place all the time.

Only thing is that the steps are a bit steep going up, but that’s it, that’s all.

Wanna Move There

The host was available within 1 minute to answer questions. The location related to downtown was excellent. My husband and I came to D to see Theo Von. This apartment was super nice and inviting. I felt like my car was safe in the gated parking lot. The neighbors in the building were so nice. After a night on the town, we were happy to go back to this spot and walk in to a clean, cool (temperature cool) apartment. We WILL be staying there again. Thanks so much!!

I was satisfied. I recommend.

Communication with the host was absolutely smooth and quick. I really appreciated the possibility of checking in at any time, as it allowed me to spend the whole day exploring the beautiful places around Detroit and check in around midnight. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. For this price, absolutely top-notch.

The wall near the window could use some finishing touches, but on the other hand, it adds to the industrial character of Detroit.
