The best place I’ve ever stayed 🩷

This is a massive shout out to @la_tour_liege 🖤💜🖤 Literally the best place I’ve ever stayed in my 40 years on this planet! The architecture is absolutely stunning - a masterful blend of old and new that feels both rich in character and refreshingly modern. Every little detail has been thought through with care, intention, and exquisite taste - it’s as if the whole place was designed cohesively from the outset rather than being from two different centuries. No expense has been spared on the finishes and the luxuries of the details! Our favourite was the front door lock - you’ll have to book to find out why! Very thoughtful touches throughout and lovely gestures left for the guests in the fridge (I won’t ruin it for you). Chocolates with the coffee machine were also a lovely touch. Going to Liège was a total accident for us, but it’s clear now we were meant to come here just to stay at @la_tour_liege. #serendipity 🩷 After three days straight of 24-hour German techno at Spa-Francorchamps 🏎️, this was the perfect sanctuary. Silence never sounded so good!

Very cool place to stay!

The property was lovely, a modern house built within an old stone ruin. The interior was very modern and sleek and was comfortable and cosy as well. The location was ideal, 2 mins away from a tram stop that goes directly to the main Liege train station. Lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc nearby. The house had a well stocked kitchen with coffee machine, water/sparkling water in the fridge, etc. The property was very secure and safe. We arrived very late at night due to plane delays and the hosts checked in on us the following day to make sure we'd arrived safely and settled in. Such a cool place to stay and made our weekend even more special.

A privacy blind on the bathroom window would have been nice and some hooks to hang towels, etc in the bathroom.

Geschmackvoll designte Unterkunft mit Seele und Substanz. Außergewöhnlich toll!

Wunderschöne, überaus hochwertige Unterkunft mit Substanz und sehr guter Ausstattung. Ich habe mich dank der Fußbodenheizung in dem Turm auch bei kühlem Wetter rundum wohlgefühlt und im bequemen Bett sehr gut geschlafen. Die Wohnung ist super mit Bahn und der neuen Tram zu erreichen, die Haltestelle liegt wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Auch Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkt liegen direkt um die Ecke. Perfekt! Es ist eine treppenbasierte Unterkunft, auch die Straße, in der sie liegt besteht aus Treppen, dessen sollte man sich bewusst sein. Das war die schönste und besonderste Unterkunft, in der ich je übernachtet habe!

Ottimo, casa molto bella e suggestiva

Ho ricevuto il codice della cassaforte per le chiavi via messaggio en le chiavi erano legate con un filo metallico. Non mi aspettavo di non poter portarmi le chiavi in giro, ma d'altra parte molto comodo avere sempre la chiave a portata dalla porta senza rischio di perdere le chiavi. Per il resto struttura moderna. Il contrasto tra il vecchio muro di pietra e la nuova parte di struttura aggiunta e' molto bello. Il corridoio verso la terrazza e' da sogno, sembra un film. Se torniamo a Liege controlleremo la disponibilita' di questa struttura di sicuro. La posizione e' centrale ed i locali sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Bus e tram sono a pochi passi dalla struttura. Per la macchina ci sono diversi posteggi disponibili, uno anche per auto elettriche dalla parte opposta della strada e costano tutti circa 20 euro al giorno.

Il non potermi portare le chiavi in giro mi ha lasciato un certo senso di insicurezza. La scalinata dall'ingresso della casa e' frequentata da drogati (in pieno giorno gente che si faceva di crak). Se uno impara il codice te lo trovi in casa... Il quartiere intorno comunque non e' dei migliori come frequentazione. Ad essere onesti non soltanto intorno alla casa ma in generale in Liege abbiamo notato esserci molti senza-tetto e personaggi dall'aspetto non proprio raccomandabile e spesso anche uso di droghe all'aria aperta. Un peccato essendo la citta' molto bella.
