The Apartment Hotel Ebisu 1

Great location and value for money. The room is standard 1LDK apartment nestled between Ebisu and Hiroo station with excellent access to Shinjuku, Tokyo and Yokohama. Its clear that the staff make a serious effort to make the stay comfortable with fresh/clean linen as well as keeping the room and common areas very clean. The amentities provided were very convinent and just what we needed.

We experienced significant problems with the electronic locks. The access code provided by the host stopped working. It was around 23:00 when it happened. We contacted the emergency phone number but the voice quality was very poor to the extent it was not possible to hold any meaningful conversation. It seemed that other guests were experiencing the same issue which prevented them from entering the property for several hours. The issue was eventually resolved in the afternoon the following day. I credit the staff for trying to everything they could to fix the issue but not having access to a room for more than several hours creates significant burden on the guests.

This apartment was the perfect place to spread out and relax after two weeks of hotel stays. The location was excellent—just an easy 8 minute walk to train stations and close enough to enjoy a walk to Shibuya Crossing—with lots of small restaurants nearby. The apartment was also exceptionally clean and made traveling around Tokyo very convenient.

Can’t think of anything.

The location was great..nice quiet area in Ebisu. Apartment was clean, lift was handy.

Check in and out system failed. We waited over an hour to get in. The owner also wouldn't let us know when the apartment was ready, instead stuck to the 4pm check in which was fine but not very accommodating. Check out was 10am, we stepped outside in the morning and came back to get our bags at 10:10am and the door was locked. They changed our code so we couldn't get back in. The apartment was also smaller than the photos make it look.
