EIGERMAGIC Chalet Wartstein

Spacious accommodation with superb views from the terrace. Excellent facilities, e.g. washing machine, powerful shower and modern TV.

It is a ground floor apartment in a wooden building with another apartment above. This wasn't clear in the specification. If there are noisy people above, which we had, this can detract from the quality of experience. Views from the main bedrooms and living room overlook a Kindergarten. We would also expect tea bags to he provided and more to help control the fly population which inevitably results from the proximity to farms. The provision of gauze across selected windows was very helpful, although unfortunately somebody had left unprotected windows open before we arrived.

We loved eating out on the patio with a great alpine view of grasses and Grindelwald.

It was a little farther from the town than we anticipated (definitely not walking distance).

Very convenient and close the all the attractions, only 5 mins drive to firstbhann for cable cars. Quiet in the evenings and all needed facilities are provided

Nothing, all perfect

Das Chalet Wartstein ist an ruhiger Lage mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ganz in der Nähe (Landi/Prima). Die Betten sind sehr bequem und wir haben die Unterkunft sehr sauber angetroffen. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung war sehr einfach.

Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt an der Skipiste (wie angegeben), sondern in der Nähe der Skipiste 22. D.h. man kann nicht direkt zur Unterkunft fahren. Die letzten 100–150m muss man zu Fuß mit den Skis den Hang hinauf laufen. Wir hatten leider schlechte Schneeverhältnisse für die Talabfahrt und mussten somit immer mit dem Auto zum Terminal fahren.
