Location was excellent. The chalet was located 50m from the train line but a large hedge and excellent glazing left you none the wiser when trains passed. The platform itself, known as Grindasweld Terminal was serviced regularly by trains heading to and from Grindaweld station, the final station on the line about 2km from the Terminal. The Terminal itself is an impressive hub for buses, trains, the Eiger Express cable car and other gondolas. The whole place is an expose in Swiss efficiency and means you can do without a hire car for your stay.
Nothing at all. The host was approachable and responsive to our requests for assistance. The house was as described, location was better than we’d appreciated
