Location and able to cook for ourselves

The ceiling constantly dropped bits of cement, no sofa, no air con in the hottest bedroom, need more tablecloths and tea towels

The location was perfect for exploring Bolsena and going to the beach (9" walk). Also, very quiet street = easy to sleep in the very comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed for our breakfasts & lunches. Grocery store was only about 10 meters down the street. Host (Michela) was very responsive and helpful. Overall charming apartment with exposed beams etc. Bolsena should be on your list of small Italian towns to visit - the lake (volcanic basin) was perfect to swim in and spend time at. There were 2 little bars right on the beach and a gelateria nearby - all of which were reasonable and friendly places to get refreshed while at the beach.

The first floor A/C struggled to keep up with the ridiculous level of heat at beginning of August 2026 but the large fan helped a lot and we slept well. Second floor bedroom had it's own A/C and that was sufficient for that bedroom and bathroom area.

La posizione, la pulizia e l' accoglienza della Sig.ra Michela che è stata davvero ottima, visto la giornata di pioggia si è preoccupata di farci trovare un ambiente caldo e confortevole.

Per chi avesse problemi ci sono troppe scale.

Ottima posizione nel centro del paese. Appartamento su due piani ristrutturato, cucina ben fornita.

La stufa a pellet funzionava piuttosto male, peccato. Per fortuna c'era il climatizzatore ma a livello confort è un'altra cosa. Attenzione i passaggi per la camera e il bagno sono molto bassi, c'è il rischio di sbattere la testa.
