360 Viewpoint by Queens Mount

We had a nice view from our room. The room was spacious enough and clean. the beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom had all the necessary amenities and running hot water. The hotel is located up on a hill close to Kandy view point. There reception area is large and has a spectacular view. Breakfast was buffet style but very few items.

Room service was bad. Communicating with the staff from the room was difficult. We tried calling reception or room service in the Inter-com from our room---but no body responded. Their reception area and probably where all the staff are stationed in at the 5th floor, where as the rooms are in the lower floors. we had to go up to the 5th floor to get hold of some one if we needed anything. Their in-house dinning / restaurant also closed very early, probably at 8 pm. We had to skip dinner and go to bed with empty hungry stomachs as we had no food with us, hotel dinning was closed and as the hotel was up up up on a hill it was not possible to walk all the way down and up again. Payment process was also a bit annoying. I booked in US $ , but during check in they refused to accept USD, and demanded Srilankan rupees only and converted USD to SLR using a high exchange rate, while i got a much lower rate when i exchanged my USD to SLR at the airport.

The location,staff , Breakfast . The views are exceptional from the room.

Great views, breakfast was lovely. We had an issue with the aircon but the staff handled it very well and we were happy with the outcome.

It’s a bit far from the town centre.

The place is near Sri Dalada Maligawa, and the view was beautiful. Dinner was also good .

There is also no proper parking area, and the space is very limited. We had to park our vehicle on the side of the road. The breakfast was not very good either.
