    I originally booked room with mountain view, Thanks to the ground staff who later upgraded us to a room with the beautiful lake view. The room is renovated with beautiful wood carving design. The bathroom is not cleaned thoroughly, there are moss and dust at the corner. The lightings are none glaring and thoughtful. Breakfast is selected from a menu, no buffet. The Sri Lankan dish is tasty but a bit too spicy and the western menu is basic. The rooftop small swimming pool is not heated but the best of views there. Just a short walking distance to the Kandy Cultural Dance place. Location is high up on a hill, using a Tuk Tuk to town is around LKR400-500. There are dozens of hotels and lodgings on this hill and nearby, and competition is high.

    Cozy hotel with rooms and pool views over the lake. Staff were helpful and caring. Great place to stay.

    Location and view are terrific. Location made better from learning of walk way here: https://goo.gl/maps/VA32smSCTpmV5DGW7 You can literally get into the heart of town walking on the road approx 100m.
